The Pump - From the 1977 Documentary “Pumping Iron”
Yesterday was the first day I felt “the Pump” in my legs from doing squats. I’m surprised because I wasn’t using that much weight (just 100lbs) but squeaking out that 25th rep certainly got my legs swole. While I don’t enjoy the pump as much as our friend the Govenator, it is a great feeling nevertheless.
So far I’m really loving Mendi’s program - he’s done a great job designing it. I am already looking forward to Stronglift’s Advanced hopefully in June/July once my 1RM squat gets to about 275-300lbs.
